cycl'n trip - Col d'Azet

July 27, 2020

Between the Aure and Louron valley, the Col de Val Louron - Azet offers a striking contrast between the gentle and grassy slopes of the valleys and the peaks of the high chain. It is one of the youngest Pyrenean "cyclo" passes which has only been tarred and open to traffic since the 90s. However, it has already been climbed 8 times by the Tour de France, especially during the edition 2018, during the stage between Bagnères-de-Luchon and Saint-Lary-Soulan.
